I wasn't always a huge fan of using brick for paving or really anything for that matter. Bricks always just seem so common and made made, but recently I've really began to appreciate brick paving and brick patios. I especially like the hand made bricks and the larger cast 'roman bricks' that are thinner and bigger overall.
I think brick patios look best with a little natural age to them, like when moss starts growing in the brick joints or the corners of the bricks wear down a little bit and show the grainy interior.
